Your Light, Gas, and Internet providers will be much easier to deal with, when you are not hastening them to accommodate a last minute request. Giving them at least two weeks notice can save everyone the hassell of a bad customer experience.

A few points to remember while talking to Customer Service:

• Arrange for a final reading of the water, gas, and electric. Do so sooner than later
• Tell them where you are moving, So they can mail you final bill
• Make sure you get whats due!!! If you have accrued a credit, make sure they pay you! Moving has costs, and one of them should not be a positive balance left behind. (Example: Phone Bill & Envelopes)
• These tips only work if you use them, Don’t neglect what you already know. Never stop learning!
